$40.00

Details

Gaming terrain ideal for use with 28mm RPG miniatures & figurines associated with games like Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, etc....

This original terrain kit is hand-cast in sturdy resin and offers an affordable way to begin and expand your Versatile Modular Dungeon (V.M.D.) collection.

Details

The modular room has TWO STYLES from which you can choose one:

Style 1. The Starter Room: For those who are new to the V.M.D.

The Starter Room Includes (See Photo #2):

1 Straight Hinge
1 Wall End
1 Swinging Door
1 1"x1" Floor Tile
4 1"x1" Walls
3 1"x3" Walls
4 1"x1" Corner Walls
4 2"x2" Floor Tiles

Style 2. The Add-On Room: For those who already own the Starter Room or a significant amount of V.M.D. material.

The Add-On Room Includes (See Photo #3)

1 Straight Hinge
1 Wall End
1 Swinging Door
1 1"x1" Floor Tile
3 1"x1" Walls
2 1"x3" Walls
2 1"x1" Corner Walls
4 2"x2" Floor Tiles
2 1"x1" T-Junction Walls
1 1"x1" Cross-Junction Wall

The Add-On Room is designed to do exactly what its name implies (See Photo #4). It tacks onto the Starter Room. Simply replace two corners on the Starter Room with junctions from this set and use the remaining pieces of the Add-On Room to build an adjacent chamber with its own door.

The doors are designed to swing 180 degrees (See Photo #5). One side of the Door is formed into a cylindrical post that slides into a slot on the Hinge Post from the top.

The hinge post, like the Wall End element for the VMD is set back 1/4", allowing the door to swing 180-degrees (See Photo #5). When integrated into the VMD, the doorway sits directly in line with the grid. When closed, the door is flush with VMD walls.

This item is not cast from Hirst Arts molds.

Note: Photos #1, #4, & #5 show what the set can look like when it is painted and combined with other terrain elements. Other items are shown only for scale and inspiration. They are not included with the set.

If you do not see something that you want, feel free to place a custom order!

Options:
For an additional charge, either of these sets can be ordered pre-painted.

Either of these sets can also be ordered with or without a 1/4" base to make the floor height compatible with other popular modular dungeons. Basing does not affect the price of the set.

About the texture artist:

The texturing for these pieces was done by Chris Lewis, a truly amazing freelance digital sculptor. His work includes many miniature figure designs, which are currently being sold by Reaper Miniatures (http://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/chris%20lewis).

Payment, for items in the shop, is of course handled directly through Etsy. For custom orders, a conversation thread will be started that contains the order specifications (see Additional Information). This thread will then be converted into an Etsy order per the specifications discussed in the thread. Payment for all orders, custom or otherwise, must be made in full at the time the order is placed.

Shipping from United States

Orders ship via USPS, using the least expensive (and usually slowest) option by default. In many cases expedited shipping options will be available on checkout, though higher rates will apply.
